So, I pretty much suck at blogging, and as of late, basic communication. Here's an update on us...
Cohen is doing really good. He's 18 months now, and he's huge! He says tons and tons of words like basketball, milk, night night, bath time, good girl (dogs), stroller, shoes, jacket, etc. His two favorite things are basketball and going on walks... he treats his stroller like it's his pet or something, it's so funny! He says bye bye to it when he gets out and we put it away. He is still going to daycare and he loooves it. I have been thinking only sending him one day a week because it is so so so expensive, but I just can't get around to it... seriously he has so much fun there, and he has little buddies that he gets excited to play with. Since Trav and I are so busy, it's really nice that he can still get some interaction with other kids. I wish I could do all the mommy and baby yoga, play groups, yada yada but I don't really have the time for that.
My mom and I have swine flu. Not really, but we think we do! It's going around my work (duh, it's a hospital) but there have been two people I work closely with that were out with it. So a trip to the doctor this afternoon may be in order for me...
I am still working full-time and going to school. I'm taking it easy (hah) and only taking two classes... Stats and Chem. It's not as awful as it sounds, I actually really like both classes. I'm still at SLCC. I will probably transfer to U of U next Spring. Right now I get enough in grants to cover my tuition at SLCC and then some... so I'm getting most of my pre-reqs for nursing out the way now.
Trav is working and going to school this summer as well. Just one class for him though. Once I go part-time at work he will be able to take more classes. We want to make sure that Cohen isn't missing us, or us missing him... And yep, Trav and I are back together, and he is living with me. My parents are amazing and are letting us live here as long as we need to... which is pretty much until I graduate.
My friend Sarah and I are planning a trip to Moab, so if anyone is up for some mountain biking, hiking, and possibly a day river trip let me know!! We are going after summer semester ends and before fall starts... not sure when that is yet.
It's been so effing WET here. It seriously has been pouring for like a week... FINALLY it's nice and sunny today. I thought the world was ending there for a minute..
I'll get around to posting pictures and cute videos of Cohen later on...
